FUTURE PLANS

Are track plans ever complete? Just like the prototype there seems to always be a different (not always for the better) way to do things. Layout will one day be expanded into 13 X 19 garage with more area devoted to more mainline scenry and structures. The time has arrived and I am now starting to develop the yards that will serve the CMK&L in the White River country.

WHAT I TRY TO DO

Right now my time is spent planning the CMK&L Railroad, an HO scale layout, based on the MOPAC during the 1900's to the 1960's. Main interest has been narrowed to Crane, MO to Cotter, AR.

It seems like the OMRA club layout is keeping me pretty busy on the layout work, so I've been working on rolling stock and designing a new plan for the CMK&L.

Steam will always rule on this shortline, although early diesel is coming on strong.

Always interested in stories about the railroad and the people that worked on them.If you have something you want to share, email me. lsmith7364@aol.com

My second hobby is scuba diving. Although I never have enough time to dive as often as I like, sometimes I can combine railfanning during vacation trips when I dive.
